Tether Tools Smart Shooter 5 Tether Software now supports Fujifilm cameras, multi-camera capture, and bulk QR/barcode workflow
Tether Tools announce the latest version of its fully customizable Smart Shooter Tethered Capture Software, which adds support for Fujifilm cameras, allows multi-camera tethering for up to 10 cameras, and Bulk QR/Barcode workflow.
Unlike other tethering software, Smart Shooter 5 is built on each camera’s Picture Transfer Protocol (PTP), which means increased reliability, faster image transfer, faster import, more camera control and more advanced features built in for each camera Smart Shooter supports., the company said.

MyWorkspaces is a customizable docking window feature, in which you can tailor your viewing and camera control interfaces and save them for unique types of shoots. The HiDPI display support ensures stunning detail for shot previews and RAW or JPEG transfers.
Connect up to 10 cameras at once for the ultimate multi-angle shoots, ideal for product, 3D modeling,book scanning and more. Helping to reduce time and increase productivity, 2-10 cameras can be grouped to capture simultaneously or run scripts for sequencing. The multi-workspace interface can show up to 4 cameras in Live View while tethering, and can be triggered by camera, software or remote trigger.
Smart Shooter 5 takes QR/barcoding workflow to the next level for photographers looking for better organization of data during a shoot. Photographers shooting subjects like product, cultural heritage, and portraits in volume, can save information to the image file name or metadata upon capture, helping to manage complex shoots with ease. Tether Tools’ new Bulk QR Code generator comes with each Smart Shooter 5 license. Each perpetual license can be loaded on 3 computers, giving studios ultimate flexibility.
SmartSave now gives Smart Shooter users the ability to save to multiple locations (card, computer, cloud file services and more) simultaneously to manage files the way you want. Files can be sorted and stored in folders by camera type, name, group or data.
Smart Shooter 5 combines previous PRO and standard-level features into one full-feature software. Smart Shooter 5 includes 10 native scripts for time lapse, bulb time, HDR, etc. as well as the ability to import custom scripts to simplify even the most technical shooting projects.
